As remote and hybrid work become an integral part of modern workplaces, technical skills alone are no longer enough. The ability to communicate with empathy, build trust, and create meaningful human connections in digital environments has become essential for successful collaboration across teams, cultures, and time zones.
This webinar will explore the concept of digital empathy and its role in fostering healthier, more inclusive, and more productive remote collaboration. Participants will gain practical insights into how emotional intelligence can improve online communication, strengthen relationships, and reduce misunderstandings in virtual teams.
The session will be led by Evelin Mendoza, a Business Management student from California, USA, currently studying abroad in Prague and completing an internship with BPWCR. Evelin is passionate about organizational behavior, leadership, and the role of empathy in communication and teamwork. Through her academic studies and international experience, she has developed a strong interest in how emotional intelligence can strengthen collaboration, particularly in digital and remote environments.
During her business studies, Evelin completed courses in Organizational Behavior and Designing & Leading Teams, which further deepened her interest in emotional intelligence, effective communication, and building meaningful connections in virtual workplaces. She aspires to build a career in business and organizational leadership focused on developing youth and community programs that foster belonging, connection, and meaningful engagement.
Whether you are a student, young professional, or anyone collaborating in online environments, this webinar will offer practical ideas and fresh perspectives on how empathy can make remote communication more human, effective, and impactful.
We look forward to welcoming you to an engaging and inspiring session that will help you strengthen one of the most valuable skills for today’s digital workplace: the ability to connect with others even through a screen.
